How to

Where to find your Google review link

First sign in to the Google account that manages your business profile.

  1. 1

    Open your profile

Search for your business name on Google, or open business.google.com. Your profile shows up with its management tools.

  2. 2

    Click "Ask for reviews"

The button is in the profile tools (sometimes under "Reviews" or "Get more reviews"). Google then shows your short link.

  3. 3

Copy the link and paste it here

It looks like g.page/r/…/review. The QR code is created right away: scan it with your phone to check that it opens the review form.

  4. 4

    Print it

At least 3 cm wide on a table tent or flyer, 2 cm on a receipt or card, dark on a light background.

FAQ

Your questions

Step-by-step guides and detailed answers: it's all in our help center.

Is this QR code really free?
Yes. No watermark, no scan limit, no expiry date. Print it as many times as you like.
I don't manage the Google profile, where is the link?
Only the person who manages the profile sees the "Ask for reviews" button. Ask them for the link, or claim your business profile on business.google.com if nobody manages it.
Can I offer a discount for a review?
No. Google forbids rewarding reviews (discount, gift, contest) and asking only happy customers. Simply asking all your customers for a review is allowed: that is what this QR code does.
What size for printing?
At least 2 cm wide on a receipt or card, 3 to 4 cm on a table tent or flyer. The medium image is enough for these; choose the large one for a poster.
Can I see how many customers scanned it?
Not with this static QR code. With an editable QR code, created with a free account, every scan is counted and you can change the destination without reprinting.
What about my TripAdvisor or Yelp reviews?
Create an Allinks page with one button per platform, then point your editable QR code to that page. The same printed QR code then covers everything.
