Connect a payment method (Stripe, PayPal…)

To sell from your page, first connect a payment method. The money from your sales goes straight to you: Allinks takes no commission and never touches the money. Allow 15 minutes, even if you have never used Stripe or PayPal. Online selling is included from the Pro plan.

Which payment method?

• Stripe (recommended): customers pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, without creating an account. The easiest way to sell online.
• PayPal: customers pay with their PayPal account or card. Useful if your audience is used to PayPal.
• Mollie: card, Bancontact, bank transfer. Handy in Belgium and Europe.
• Offline payment: bank transfer, cash or cheque. No account needed, you confirm each sale by hand in Sales.

If in doubt, start with Stripe. You can add PayPal later.

Before you start

Have at hand: your business number (see Selling on Allinks: what you need to know), an ID document and your bank details (IBAN), to receive the money on your bank account.

No Stripe account yet? Create one

1. Go to stripe.com and sign up with your email. Choose your country. It is free.
2. Confirm your email, then click Activate payments (or Complete your profile).
3. Business type: Individual / sole proprietorship or Company. Enter your business number, your activity and your Allinks page address as your website.
4. Add your bank details: this is where Stripe pays out your sales, automatically.
5. Stripe verifies your identity, often within minutes. Meanwhile, you can already prepare the connection to Allinks.

No PayPal business account yet? Create one

1. Go to paypal.com/business and create a free business account. Already have a personal account? You can upgrade it in its settings.
2. Enter your activity and business number, then confirm your email.
3. Link your bank account so you can transfer the money you receive.

Connect your account to Allinks

1. Open Sales (or Settings, then Payment methods) and click Connect.
2. Choose your provider, then Continue.
3. Follow the Where to find your keys? box: it shows, screen by screen, where to copy your keys in your Stripe, PayPal or Mollie dashboard. Make sure you are in live mode, not test mode, then paste them into the fields.
4. Required step: copy the notification address (webhook) shown and add it in your provider dashboard, as explained. Without it, payments are collected but your sales are not recorded in Allinks.
5. Tick I followed all the steps at the bottom of the form, then save. The account becomes Active.

Offline payment

Choose Offline payment and write your instructions (your IBAN for a bank transfer, or how to pay you). Each order arrives in Sales as pending: you confirm it by hand once you have received the money.

Next

1. Add a Product, Service or Donation block to your page and pick this account: see Sell a product, a service or receive donations.
2. Make a test purchase with your own card before announcing your offer (you can refund yourself from Stripe or PayPal). The sale should show up in Sales.

Good to know

• Only the usual Stripe, PayPal or Mollie fees apply, according to their pricing: a small percentage per sale, nothing without sales.
• Stripe pays the money out to your bank account automatically, usually within a few days. With PayPal, the money stays in your PayPal account until you transfer it.
• Your keys stay private: they are never shown on your pages.
