Allinks gives you the tools to sell from your page: products, services, donations. Before your first sale, here is what you need to know, even if you have never sold online. Online selling is included from the Pro plan.
You remain the seller
- The money goes straight to your Stripe, PayPal or Mollie account, then to your bank account. It never goes through Allinks, which takes no commission.
- Invoices, mandatory information and tax returns are in your name.
- State your terms of sale on your page or in the description: delivery time, refunds, how to reach you.
Do you need a business status?
- Selling personal belongings now and then (clothes, a book): usually no status needed.
- Selling regularly or to make money (creations, courses, coaching, products bought to resell): this is a business activity and must be registered.
- Receiving donations: an occasional donation is not a sale, but regular or large amounts may be taxable.
Getting started
In most countries, the simplest way to start alone is a sole proprietorship (in France: micro-entreprise, free to set up online). Registration is usually done on your government's official website and gives you a business number, which Stripe or PayPal will ask for. Check the rules, contributions and thresholds that apply in your country with your tax office or an accountant. If you already have a company, simply use it.
Next
Once your status is set up, connect a payment method: the guide also walks you through it if you have never used Stripe or PayPal.
This information is for guidance only and does not replace advice from your tax office or an accountant.
